Based on the client’s $50.00 CPL requirement, we would recommend:

 

1.      Bid on the Denver and Miami stations again at the same rate.

2.      Bid on the Houston station again, but at a 20% lower rate.

3.      Bid on the San Diego station again, but at a 35% lower rate. 

4.      FIRE the Chicago station.   

 

At the end of the day, creating a successful lead generation program hinges on the ability to clearly identify the stations that are performing and the stations that are not.  Stations should not be evaluated cumulatively, but on an individual basis.  Every campaign will have poor performing stations.  In every direct response advertising campaign we have seen, success or failure hinges on the ability to identify and fire the poor performing stations/channels.
